Saas Bahu aur Saazish goes off FaceBook, comes back again

 If you are a fan of Saas Bahu aur Saazish on Facebook and haven’t been able to see its posts then don’t panic. Facebook recently blocked Star News’ Facebook fan page Saas Bahu aur Saazish and also disabled the vanity URL in the beginning of March. The Star News team was quite shocked to see the sudden action from Facebook. But all was well soon enough.
“We contacted Facebook and they clarified that the fan page crossed the limit of number of fans by reaching around 10,000, which exceeds the limits of Facebook”, Ashok Venkatramani, CEO, MES said.
“They blocked the page because of the lack of authenticity. There were other communities also with the show name and the number were increasing on those too,” he added.
The reason for the delay he said was that there is no Facebook office in India and they don’t know much about the show so they were checking the authenticity of the page and show. The Facebook has sent few forms to the channel through mail to get the details of the show and channel and after that the page will be back.
The channel is now at peace. “As a brand it hasn’t harmed our identity because usually people don’t get to know all this. It is just like an advertisement for our channel, which comes goes and again comes back,” he opined.
“It is just a little hassle. It happens. And sometimes it’s good that these kinds of things happen because through this people become aware. It is good to have governance like this to protect from unwanted sites”, added Venkatramani.
